I want My music in the world.

Blue Sky Promotions, Inc.

Created in 1983 Blue Sky Promotions was originally intended to be a way and means of providing both promising and established artists the opportunity to be professionally promoted, marketed and showcased.

By 1998, after Deborah’s revelation about bringing HIS Music into the world, the company’s primary function shifted to producing and promoting professional and inspired gospel music performances. These concerts were held in both small and large mainstream venues in both Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

While the large anchor performances featured established Nashville artists, Deborah ensured that local Canadian talent was either presented at artist showcase performances or were called upon to open for the big name acts. The work involved in securing the artists, the venues, the volunteers, the funding and then marketing and promoting along with every aspect of producing this sort of a venture was a significant undertaking. At the time, Deborah was just one of two professional gospel music promoters in Canada. She went the extra mile, often hiring symphony orchestras and/or including a 200 voice choir and a children’s choir. Nearly every event featured or included her house band, Razor’s Edge, led by Wes Yaciuk, and included Deborah’s husband, Kevin Andrews (drums/percussion/flute/vocals).

The mission was to present, produce and develop the Contemporary Christian Music industry in North America with the ultimate goal being to see lives impacted by a message of hope and love. It was all about HIS music.

Three seasons of concerts were produced – more than 20 in total – in two cities.

The ministry there was full of music, prayer, hosting, loving people, and building community. Gospel music could be heard pouring out of a local coffee shop every weekend for three months.

Deborah speaks about the incredible story of their time in Scotland in her book, Let’s Go! (the soon to be published updated book formerly entitled You Want Me to Do What?)
